We were running low on our apple juice storage so we went to the apple orchard to buy some apples. The problem is that they were really expensive. I looked at the "deer" apples at $10 a bag. I picked out three different types of apples and away we went.
Tom and I got at it one day when it pretty quickly as Mort McBain wanted him press and other things back so he could make some juice. It worked out perfectly as we met him in the parking lot of the temple and he was able to get his things back.
He ran the apples through the snow cone machine and I did the rest. I cut them up and did the pressing.
He hauled the excess away and I did the clean up. It is a lot of work but so worth it!
The next week, Sammi bought some apples and we did it all over again.
