Sunday was the perfect day to travel as we couldn't attend Sacrament meeting. We were both glad that we weren't doing touring on the Sabbath.
We entered the Yukon Territory of Canada.
There were some beautiful views along the way.
We stopped in the middle of nowhere for lunch. There were some steep river banks where Pat had to go and skip a stone or two. He did really great in getting several skips!
Like I said, it was steep and Pat had to carefully make his way back up the bank.
This little cabin was where our lunch was served. Soup and sandwiches were served by our tour director Jen and our bus driver.
This place on the river used to be quite a dangerous rapids until some of the rock formations were cleared out. Apparently many people died while trying to traverse Five Finger Rapids.
We had a group photo taken at this place. It was nice to get out and stretch our legs.
